Who we are

What started in 1991 as Pawnshop Tsjin Jie in Kowloon, gradually grew into a liquidator company, whereby the gathered market knowledge was increasingly used for appraisals and advice. However, Tsjin Jie has never forgotten her social task that she had as a pawnshop, that’s why the name finally changed in Fair-Tradedeal. with still minimal rates, because that has stimulated our growth so much.

HOW ?

Over the years we have become more and more consultant and broker to purchase special items on behalf of our customers. Our circle of foreign advisors (collector/specialists) has steadily expanded over the years. Their input and commitment are invaluable and could finally keep our tariffs low. This makes our staff accustomed to adequately assessing all kind of foreign objects and collections. Safe?

Fair-tradedeal works safe and secure. For Fair-Tradedeal the client normaly keeps the entire collection in his own hands, it only needs to be scanned and mailed to us, after which Fair-Tradedeal will get started for you. In case a special item/collection need a thoroughly inspection or certificate, the customer will be advized how and where to have it done. Fair-Tradedeal also carries out, liquidation or sales for items or collections sent to us. Note; shipments only after mutual agreement in advance. Because of our expert-network Fair-Tradedeal is able, when required, to provide the necessary certificates. After inspection/estimation the customer will receive a detailed report with the options, how and where to liquidate best, if need be with an authorization-to-sell document.

Sure ?

Our service of estimation was originally created for relatives of deceased collectors who did not know what to do with the sometimes large or valuable inherited collections. This subsequently resulted in the commissioning of appraisals, but also the liquidation thereof. If it concerns valuable items, we always have a second opinion carried out by a specialist in order to determine or achieve the most realistic value.

Choice ?

Fair-Tradedeal stands for the most economical, offering the best solution. Fair-tradedeal recommends where and how to sell best, liquidation by the customer itself, or liquidation on assignment. Fair-Tradedeal uses various strategies. For certain items, we know which of many (also high-quality) auction houses is recommended to achieve the best result for the customer. Fair-Tradedeal is part of a huge network of collectors worldwide, therefor often knows where certain parts of the collection can be sold privately for the best price.

Our special network and low overheadcosts makes Fair-Tradedeal highly efficient. We offer the fairest appraisel and broker tariffs in our branch. For estimations 2,35% from the estimated value with a starting tariff of HKD 20,- (USD 2,50) and 4,75% in case of buying or selling on behalf of the customer with a starting tariff of HKD 40,- (USD 5,-).
